JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -

Jacksonville voters had a chance to put faces to the names on the ballot Thursday night at the 2014 Hob Nob.

Candidates on the ballot this fall for offices like Congress, state representative and school board set up at the annual political gathering.

The candidates' campaigns had a chance to sway voters with less than three weeks to go until the primary election.

Voters also had a chance to look ahead to next year's city elections.

Several candidates for sheriff, as well as City Council contenders, also took part in the event.
