JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Jacksonville-born jazz great Teddy Washington, who was featured at the 2008 Jacksonville Jazz Fest, died Tuesday night.Washington performed with the likes of James Brown, B.B. King and Frank Sinatra -- just to name a few.In 1999, he performed at the reopening of the Ritz Theatre.Just seven years later, he was inducted into the Jacksonville Jazz Festival Hall of Fame.Channel 4 was told Washington died at Shands, apparently from complications caused by a blood clot.Washington was 80.

A fight broke out twice in St. Johns County over a car repossession on Usina Road Extension late Tuesday morning, according to the St. Johns County Sheriff's Office.
