JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Thirty-five-year-old Stacie Rine decided to open a Massage Heights franchise because massage therapy is what helped get her through her service abroad.
When Stacie was growing up her brother died and she became her "father's son." Her father taught her how to fly and inspired her to become a pilot. Stacie graduated from the US Naval Academy in 1995 at the age of 21; she had her fair share of obstacles to overcome as she was the only female in her flight school class, the only female pilot in her first squadron, and was the minority in four deployments to the Gulf War, Afghanistan and Iraq.
To deal with the physical and mental stresses of war, Stacie regularly received massage treatments and says that the therapy is what "got her through the hardest time of her life." She is so passionate about the positive impact of a massage on a person's well-being that she recently opened her second massage therapy franchise. Her first Massage Heights opening shattered corporate records for a new location.
