JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Many have been asking for more information on the return of hometown hero Capt. Scott Speicher.
Now, Channel 4 has obtained specific details on the procession route for Friday's memorial.
The hearse carrying Speicher's remains will depart NAS Jax to the Veterans Memorial Wall at 9 a.m. It will travel along Roosevelt Boulevard to Interstate 10 then to Interstate 95.
The cortege will make its way through downtown -- that includes Forsythe, Liberty, Bay and A. Philip Randolph streets.
The motorcade is expected to reach the Veteran's Memorial Wall around 9:30 a.m.
Following the stop at the wall, the motorcade will proceed back along the interstates to Roosevelt then along Blanding Boulevard, where it will stop for a moment at Speicher's church, Lakeshore Methodist Church.
From the church the procession will head to Speicher's high school, Forrest High School.
That's from Blanding to Wilson Boulevard to Firestone Road and Ridgeway.
From there it will make its way to Ricker Road as it heads toward 103rd Street and Cecil Field.
From Cecil Field, Speicher will be taken to his final resting place at Jacksonville Memory Gardens.
That route will be from 103rd Street to Brannon Field Road, Argyle Forest eastbound, then to Blanding Boulevard southbound.
Police said there will be rolling roadblocks but no complete road closures.
