Middleburg Man Electrocuted Wiring Dryer

A 32-year-old man attempting to wire his dryer to 220-volt service at his Middleburg home came in contact with the current and was shocked.Clay County Fire-Rescue was called to the home in the 4800 block of Chickpea Street just before 2 p.m., but authorities said resuscitation efforts failed.The man was identified as Scott Reed.Clay County detectives called Reed's death accidental, but will complete an investigation.
