POSTED: Monday, September 14, 2009
UPDATED: 8:39 pm EDT September 14, 2009

A Jacksonville woman now faces several drunken driving charges in connection with a crash on Interstate 10 in June that left one man dead.

The Florida Highway Patrol says 26-year-old Jessica Martin is charged with DUI manslaughter, four counts of DUI involving serious bodily injury and DUI property damage.

Investigators said Martin's pickup truck collided with a van carrying 11 people near Marietta, causing it to hit a concrete barrier and overturn. State troopers said several of the passengers were thrown from the van. Moses Hughes, Jr., 49, died at Shands Jacksonville after the crash.

The passengers in the van were heading to a family reunion at the time of the crash.
