TAMPA, Fla. -- A 34-year-old Riverview father has been charged with child abuse after authorities say he beat his daughter with a belt and shaved her head for misbehaving.The Tampa Tribune reported that investigators said Jose Ajpacaja-Ajiataz of Riverview admitting to shaving her head as punishment. According to the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office, he was angry at her for stealing jewelry from a store and used a video game without his permission. The girl's age was not released.The father was arrested Wednesday and charged with physical and mental abuse. A booking report shows he was released Thursday.There is no home phone number listed for him and the booking report said he had no cell phone.Riverview is about 12 miles southeast of Tampa.
