Witnesses Say Tire Blew, Sending Vehicle Off I-95

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. -- A single-vehicle wreck involving a recreational vehicle Sunday night sent two people to the hospital.According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the RV was headed south on Interstate 95 South just before state Road 206 when the vehicle's right-front tire blew out. The vehicle veered off the road and struck several trees.Passenger Linda Severino, 51, was taken by helicopter to Shands-Jacksonville Medical Center. The driver, Frank Severino, 60, received only minor injuries.The FHP said the Severinos are residents of Daytona Beach.
