The St. Johns County Sheriff's Office is asking the public for help finding a 20-year-old fugitive from Tennessee who was last seen leaving a family member's home in Ponte Vedra Beach.
Jarrett Edward Mooneyhan is currently wanted out of Tennessee for violation of probation after being charged with felony aggravated armed robbery.
St. Johns deputies were told the subject fled the home to avoid capture, leaving behind his personal belongings. Investigators said they found Mooneyhan's backpack containing a loaded .38 caliber handgun.
It is believed Mooneyhan may have left the area, but his exact whereabouts are unknown.
Mooneyhan was arrested earlier this year in Tennessee on charges of aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer and carrying a concealed firearm, and has been named as a suspect in other robberies in Tennessee.
Anyone with information related to Mooneyhan should contact 911 or your local law enforcement agency. Authorities said he should be considered dangerous and may be armed.
