JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The contract extension for the Florida-Georgia game is now being finalized in negotiations between the two schools and the city of Jacksonville.
It's a six-year deal starting with the 2011 game.
The city will give $50,000 to each school to help cover travel expenses.
The city will also pay for a direct flight from Athens to Jacksonville for the Bulldogs.
Currently, Georgia drives to Atlanta for their flight.
The city is going to keep addressing game-day issues, such as traffic control and alcohol regulation.
