ORANGE PARK, Fla. -- A fire investigator believes three young men set fire to ping-pong paddles and pool cues inside the sporting goods section of the Orange Park Walmart on Tuesday night, resulting in $250,000 in damage.
State Fire Marshal's Office Lt. Robby Stephens said the three men and a woman appearing to be 17 to 22 years old entered the store on 889 Blanding Blvd. about 11 p.m. The woman walked away before the men were spotted in the sporting goods section.
The fire started within 30 seconds.
No one was injured, and the sprinkler system put the fire out.
Stephens said the men were seen meeting up with the woman in another section of the store, high-fiving each other and heading for the exit.
Investigators released the surveillance video, hoping someone recognizes the people in the group.
A reward of up to $2,500 is available for information leading to an arrest of anyone responsible for committing arson. Call the arson tip line at 877-NO-ARSON or 877-662-7766.
