State Rep. Lake Ray Working To Get State Law To Get Plate

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Georgia fans who live in Florida could soon have a new way to show off their team spirit.

One local lawmaker who is a Gator fan is working to give Bulldogs their own license plate.

State Rep. Lake Ray is working to pass a state law that would create the plate.

Ray said the plate is the right thing to do for the tradition of the Florida-Georgia game.

He also noted that there is a large number of Georgia fans who live in northeast Florida who would be interested in getting the license plate.
