Was Wanted For Previous Warrant

POSTED: Monday, November 2, 2009
UPDATED: 1:40 pm EST November 2, 2009

A Live Oak, Fla. man was arrested last Tuesday after a check for warrants showed he was wanted for exposing himself to a child.

Officer Jason Galub responded to a suspicious person call at the In and Out Camp Ground in the 3100 block of SW U.S. 90. Officer Galub found Morris Bowers in a vehicle along with the suspect in the suspicious person call.

After running a warrant check on Bowers it was discovered he had an active outstanding warrant for his arrest for what investigators say was Lewd Exhibition in the Presence of a Child. The warrant was issued out of Suwannee County with no bond.

Morris was arrested on the warrant charge and transported to the Columbia County Detention Center for booking.
