Students Experience Blue Angels Simulator

Simulator Visits Trinity Christian Academy

Math and science lessons came to life for some high school students, as they experienced the Navy's Blue Angels simulator.

The simulator visited Trinity Christian Academy, in conjunction with the demonstration squadron's visit to Jacksonville for the Sea and Sky Spectacular this weekend.

The simulator pitches and rolls, making students feel like they are in one of the F/A-18 Hornet jets, and video screens inside depict the sights of a Blue Angels acrobatic flight.

School leaders said physics classes recently studied motion, so this simulator experience applied to their lessons very well.
