JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A Mandarin restaurant has pitched in to help Somer Thompson's family.
On Saturday afternoon the Bonefish Grill on San Jose Boulevard had a special menu for $25 a person. The lunch included a four-course meal and a dessert. All of the money raised in the event will go to support the first-grader's family.
Somer was abducted while walking home from school last month. Her body was found in a Georgia landfill, just two days after she disappeared.
The reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of Somer's killer is currently $45,000.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Clay County Tip Line at 877-227-6911 (cart@claysheriff.com) or Crime Stoppers at 866-845-TIPS.
