Day's parents described their daughter as a sweet, quiet woman who keeps to herself and loves photography and animals. They said they miss their daughter and just want to see her again.

"Everybody that knows Rosemary loves her, but we just don't know what happened," said Jerry Day, Rosemary's father. "We have to be positive, because if you're not positive, it'll kill you."

Donna Arnold, who lives below Rosemary Day at her Westside apartment, said she was the last person to see her. She said that was May 21.

"I'm pretty sad. I've shed lots of tears, and I've said a lot of prayers over her," Arnold said.

Friends of Day have started a Facebook page to help find her.

Friends and relatives said Day was in an abusive relationship, and that has many who know her worried.

"I'm so helpless, just completely helpless," Jerry Day said. "I just don't know what to do."

Rosemary Day is described as an Asian-American woman, 5 feet 4 inches tall and 150 pounds, with brown eyes and brown hair. Her family said she is without her daily medication.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to call the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office at 904-630-0500 or Crime Stoppers at 866-845-TIPS.
