Authorities Issue 'All Points Bulletin' For Woman
The theft occurred Tuesday at Patrick Air Force Base's main gate after a unidentified woman was denied access to the base. There were five guards stationed at the main gate, however, no one was in the unlocked guard shack.Traffic was being channeled farther west into the base when an unidentified woman was seen entering the shack and removing the items.
"A woman at the main gate stole the IDs out of the gated shack," said Capt. Susan Romano, spokeswoman for the 45th Space Wing told WKMG-TV News partner Florida Today."It was observed when she did it," Romano said.The case was turned over to the Brevard County Sheriff's Office to investigate.
