JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A man wanted for shooting a 19-year-old after a Mandarin party turned himself in Tuesday afternoon.

Troy Solomon, 20, is changed with the murder of Tavoris Jones after a party on Jan. 3.
Police say Solomon shot Jones as he and his brother were running away from a party on Chestnut Lake Drive, near Mandarin High School.
The brother had a disagreement with two girls, and the girls allegedly called some friends to help. The friends chased the two brothers and allegedly shot Jones (pictured, left) in the back in a nearby yard.
The homeowner was out of town during the party, which he said was supposed to just be a small gathering with his son and some friends. Police estimate there were 40-60 teens at the party, some as young as 13 years old.
"There was a large quantity of people there and all of them had to be interviewed," Jacksonville Sheriff's Office assistant Chief Steve Weintraub said. "During the interview process, we were able to determine that Mr. Solomon was indeed the suspect."
Police have asked Channel 4 not to show Solomon's face at this time, as his photo will be shown to partygoers.
