Three suspects have been arrested in the shooting death of Javier Robledo on Friday night.
Katilius Middlebrooks, 17, and Deanthony Davis, 20, were charged with armed robbery and murder.
Police found them already locked up in the Glynn County Jail.
At about 8 p.m. Friday, Glynn County police said they received a call of shots being fired near the intersection of Cornwall and Bishop streets. When officers arrived at the scene, they found Robledo, 31, lying in the street with a gunshot wound to the head.
Police said rescuers transported Robledo to Southeast Georgia Regional Health System, where he was pronounced dead.
Detectives said they were told Robledo and his 24-year-old brother were on Bishop Street when they were approached by three men who attempted to rob them.
Police said Robledo was shot during the robbery.
In addition to the two charged with murder, police also arrested Christopher Young, 19, on charges of tampering with evidence and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Young was arrested Wednesday night at the Glynn County Police Department.
