The deputies said they could smell the distinctive odor of methamphetamine manufacturing as they stood outside of the home. Deputies said they found items used to manufacture meth concealed in a barbecue grill. Additional items used in the manufacturing process were found inside two bags that were placed in the wood line of the property, deputies said.

The three people at the home were arrested and booked into the Columbia County Detention Facility.

Two children were in the home at the time, and the Florida Department of Children and Families was notified.
