3 Charged In Slaying Of Brunswick Man

Police Believe Shooting Occurred During Robbery Attempt

Three Brunswick men were arrested in connection with a fatal shooting of a 52-year-old man Friday night on Norwich Street.

Brunswick police responding to a report of a shooting about 9:50 p.m. Friday found Drew Sweeney dead of a gunshot wound to the head.

A short time later, police arrested three men in the 2300 block of Wolfe Street in connection with the slaying.

The three charged with murder are: Bryant James Julio, 20; Antonio Lashun Thomas, 22; and Demetrius Deshawn Thomas, 27. Police said all three men are Brunswick residents.

Police said the shooting occurred during an attempted robbery.
