3 hurt in crash of car, JSO cruiser

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -

A car and a Jacksonville Sheriff's Office cruiser collided at the intersection of Hubbard and Sixth streets in Springfield at on Friday afternoon.

Channel 4 was told the officer was not injured, but three people in the car -- one a baby -- were taken to Shands Jacksonville Medical Center with minor injuries.

JSO traffic homicide detectives were investigating, not because of the severity of the injuries, but because it involved a police vehicle.
