According to Clay County Fire and Rescue three people were in a canoe on Kingsley Lake near Camp Blanding Sunday afternoon when their canoe tipped and began taking on water.

Bystanders near the lake came to their rescue pulling the victims to shore before fire and rescue arrived.

Fire officials said none of the boaters needed medical attention.

The reason the canoe tipped is unknown.
