Investigators Suspect Foul Play

UPDATED: 11:30 am EDT July 12, 2004

Orlando police are searching for clues Monday after a 14-year-old girl is found dead inside a bedroom Sunday, according to WKMG-TV in Orlando.

Monica Drapper was found in bed at about 1 p.m. at the Camden Fountains Apartments in the Rosemount area near Lake Orlando just west of Orange Blossom Trail.

The girl's 12-year-old brother found the body, according to a report.

Investigators said they suspect foul play but have not released any details about her death.

A neighbor said some people heard noises coming from the apartment in the middle of the night.

Investigators believe someone Drapper knew may have killed her.

Investigators are now looking to question several people who were seen coming and going from the apartment between Saturday night and Sunday afternoon.

If you have any information, please call (407) 423-8477.
