4 in custody after shots fired

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Four people are in custody after shots were fired from a truck Saturday in Arlington, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.

Police said around 4 p.m. they responded to home in the 6800 block of King Arthur Drive North. Once officials got there police said they spotted four people driving from the scene in a white truck.

Police were able to catch two of the suspects a mile away on Rogero Road. The other two ran away but were captured a short time later at a home on Eastwood Lane.

Police believe the driver of the truck is the one who fired the shots. They said he lives at a home off King Arthur Drive.

Police believe the suspect that was in the front passenger seat is a juvenile.

"We surrounded the house and were able to talk out all of the suspects from that residence and now we are in the process of investigating and trying to find out what happened. We recovered one firearm and there are still possibly other firearms that are outstanding." said Sgt. Greg Foxworth with JSO.

Police said one gun was recovered and more may be outstanding.
