In each case Bryd passed a note to a bank teller demanding money.

According to police, on Feb. 7, while attempting to rob the Jax Metro Credit Union at 30 East 27th St. in Brentwood, the teller told Byrd that she didn't work there and didn't have any money causing Byrd to flee the scene.

Police say that Byrd was arrested Feb. 21 for a Jan. 16 robbery.  After putting him through a series of lineups he was connected to the three other robberies.

The arrest report for Byrd lists the dates and locations of the banks as:

Jan. 7, Sun Trust, 1700 North Main St., Springfield, Fla.
Jan. 16, Jax Metro Credit Union, 3033 Lenox Ave., Jacksonville, Fla.
Jan. 31, TD Bank, 6050 St. Augustine Road, Lakewood, Fla.
