400 people helped paint the paw prints

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – More than 400 people took part in the 20th annual painting of the paw prints.

Business leaders, volunteers,and Jaxon De Ville used yellow paint and stencils to pain the prints on Bay Street from the base on the Main Street Bridge to EverBank Field.

The event featured the ROAR of the Jaguars, the D-Line,and members of Bold City Brigade.

Once the 263 prints were completed, the crowd gathered in Lot X of EverBank for an after-party.

The annual event began in 1995 as a small Downtown Council project for council members, but has since grown into an annual family-friendly event with hundreds of participants of all ages. The first 300 people to register for this year's event received a ticket to a Jaguars preseason game.
