Deputies with the Flagler County Sheriff's Office are seeking the public's help in identifying four males and one female who they said were captured on video surveillance damaging a concrete statue of Venus De Milo.
Deputies said the incident occurred on June 9 just after midnight at the European Village.
The people are seen on video entering the courtyard, and they proceed to walk over to the water fountain. As the males walk past the statue, they pushed the statue over, causing its head and arms to break, deputies said.
All five then ran toward Palm Harbor Parkway. The head to the statue has not been found.
The five are described as one white female, one white male and three black males in their late teens or early 20s.
Deputies believe they may live in the area where the incident occurred.
Anyone with information on this incident is urged to call Deputy Daniel Parthemore at 386-313-4911 or Crime Stoppers at 888-277-TIPS (8477). Callers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
