Palatka police arrested six women on Wednesday in a prostitution sting.
"The Police Department strives to keep the streets of Palatka clean," Police Chief Gary Getchell said in a news release. "In this ever-changing world of social media, we have now found it is being used for inappropriate activity. This operation was conducted to discourage these activities."
The women were charged with solicitation of prostitution.
Robyn Babcock, 32, Kimberly Mcleod, 24, Ashley Melton, 21, Chelsea Fair, 19, and Robin Elworthy, 48, all of Palatka, had bail set at $504 each.
Caroline Francois, 37, of Orange Park, had bail set at $1,004.
