70 soccer jerseys stolen from laundromat

Suspects seen on surveillance video at Keystone Laundry

KEYSTONE HEIGHTS, Fla. – The Clay County Sheriff's Office is investigating the theft of 70 children's soccer jerseys and other team-related clothing from a Keystone Heights laundromat.

Bags and towels were also stolen from Keystone Laundry.  All the stolen items were valued at more than $1,000.

Deputies said the coach of a local youth soccer program has an office near the laundromat and stepped away for a few minutes. When he returned, the clothing and other items were gone.


IMAGES: Surveillance of suspects

CCSO released surveillance images of two suspects.  Deputies said they were seen on video removing the jerseys and placing them in the trunk of their car.

The suspects appeared to be driving a newer model red/maroon 4-door vehicle that possibly has a handicap permit.
