A former worker for the Department of Children and Families charged with sexual battery on a 5-year-old last year faces yet another charge.

Louis Templeman Louis Templeman, 51, was in court Friday morning, accused of sexual battery on a 6-year-old girl.

Police say the girl says that the alleged abuse happened to her in July of last year, while she was in Templeman's care at the Department of Children and Families. Templeman was later suspended from the counseling job.

Templeman also was arrested last Christmas for allegedly molesting a 5-year-old boy who was also in his care.

Before he was arrested Thursday, Templeman was out on bond awaiting his trial on that charge.

The judge denied Templeman's bond pending an arraignment that is set for September.
