Woman Shot Several Times On Front Porch, Dies

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Police are investigating the shooting death of a woman in Northwest Jacksonville early Saturday morning.At 3:49 a.m., homicide detectives were called when police found the body of 51-year-old Martha Kirkley on the front porch of a home in the 1600 block of West 19th Street.Investigators said she was shot multiple times and was pronounced dead at the scene.Police said they have no suspects at this time.Anyone with any information about the slaying is asked to call Crimestoppers at 866-845-TIPS.
