Police are looking for a man who they said tried to rob a Hess gas station in Arlington late Monday night.
Investigators said the man went into the store at 9094 Merrill Road at about 11:45 p.m. and demanded money and threatened to shoot the clerk.
The man fled on foot after not getting any money, police said. They said he had been at the store before the attempted robbery and bought fuel for his vehicle. Police didn't know what type of car it was.
