Traffic on interstate highways north and south of Jacksonville was slowed Tuesday morning by accidents involving overturned tractor-trailers.
Mid-morning, a big rig crash-landed on the guardrail of Interstate 295 near Airport Road. That accident was being cleared just before noon.
About 11 a.m., an overturned big rig blocked one northbound lane of I-95 near Emerson Street. That accident was quickly cleared and all lanes have reopened. Only a minor injury was reported.
Police and the Florida Highway Patrol are working the two accidents. Details about the cause and people involved in the accidents will be added to this story when the information becomes available.
