A body was found floating in the St. Johns River by a boater on Wednesday afternoon, prompting a Volusia County Sheriff's Office investigation.
Deputies said a boater near the Highbanks Marina flagged down the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, who brought in VCSO to recover the body, which is only identified as an adult male.
The cause of death hasn't been released.
