A body was found in the St. Johns River near Blount Island on the Northside late Thursday morning, according to Jacksonville police.

Homicide investigators were called to 5800 Channel View Blvd. just before noon.

Police said the body is believed to be that of a man who was reported missing after he fell off a boat.

Police said no foul play is suspected.

No other information was immediately available.
