Brunswick Police: Man Responsible For 9 Burglaries
Published On: Oct 14 2011 02:08:02 PM EDT Updated On: Jun 23 2008 02:32:41 AM EDTA 20-year-old arrested after an attempted burglary in Magnolia Park last month is now charged with eight additional counts of robbery, according to the Brunswick Police Department.
Joseph Fitzgerald Evans, of Brunswick, was arrested May 15 after a witness positively identified him as the man who attempted to break in a home.
After running Evan's fingerprints, police have connected him to eight residential burglaries in the Windsor Park area last year.
Police said Evans' fingerprints matched latent fingerprint evidence from the 2007 burglaries, allowing arrest warrants to be obtained in those cases.
