Brunswick police arrested a convicted felon while he was trying to burglarize the T & C Pawn Shop just before 2:30 a.m. Friday.
Police responded to a burglary alarm in the 3000 block of Community Road. When police arrived they saw a man inside crawling on his hands and knees in an attempt to avoid being detected by the surveillance cameras.
Once inside, police found David Bens, 34, trying to hide in an exterior ventilator shaft. Police said they also found a shotgun and burglary tools.
Bens was arrested and charged with burglary, possession of burglary tools and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
He was booked into the Glynn County Detention Center.
