A man police believe was burglarizing a Beach Boulevard car wash early Friday morning was found dead inside the business.

An employee who arrived about 7:30 a.m. at CleanCar Touchless Car Wash on Beach near Kernan Boulevard found the body, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office. Police said the man was face down and surrounded by coins and other items.

Police said there were no signs of trauma on the body and no foul play was suspected. The medical examiner will determine the man's identity, cause of death and how long he had been dead.

"There is surveillance video on the perimeter of the building," Paul said. "Hopefully, that will give us a better idea of what he was doing."
