Stolen campaign signs
PALM COAST, Fla. -

The campaign signs for a Flagler County clerk's office candidate were vandalized in the past week, the Sheriff's Office said.

Candidate Ken Mazzie's campaign manager Donna Heiss said about 100 signs had been vandalized throughout Palm Coast, costing the campaign about $775. Deputies said the vandals were cutting off the lower posts from the signs.

“We are investigating this incident and our deputies are working to prevent damage to any candidate’s sign. We will pursue charges against anyone that we identify in connection to campaign vandalism and I urge residents to report it,” said Flagler County Sheriff Donald Fleming.

Anyone with information on these incidents is asked to contact the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office at 386-313-4911.
