Orange County deputies are investigating why a driver drove a car through the front entrance of a business Saturday night.
Deputies said the car slammed into a Chinese restaurant at 930 Lee Road around 8:45 p.m. Saturday evening.
Deputies said at least two people were injured and witnesses inside said one of the people injured was a child.
Deputies said the driver hit the brakes when his shoelaces got caught around the gas pedal, surging the car forward.
Deputies said a child was hurt and taken the hospital after his leg was run over, but is expected to make a full recovery.
