Police say they have no new leads into the disappearance of a Palm Bay woman who has been missing for two weeks.
About 50 people showed up this weekend for a grassroots search for 22-year-old Marsharie Lemons-Garrett. She was last seen at her family's home.
Soon after she was reported missing, police found the woman's shoes and socks in the woods near her home. No other clues turned up and police called off the search.
Florida Today reports the woman's mother, Marsha Muhammad, asked the community to remain vigilant and report anything to authorities.
Palm Bay police spokesman Steve Bland says there have been several possible sightings of Lemons-Garret. But none have panned out. He says there is no indication of foul play.
