Couple accused of AC theft

A couple was arrested Tuesday in Daytona North when deputies said they watched them dismantle an air conditioning unit.
Responding to a burglary call, Flagler County deputies said Tammy Lynn Keller, 45, and Jermaine Verdell, 39, had refrigerator and air conditioning parts in the back of their truck outside a home on Hickory Street.
Keller told deputies she was there to clean the home, however the homeowner told deputies no one should have been on the property at all.
Keller and Verdell were charged with burglary and petit theft and arrested.
