The second day after a Piper Cherokee went down in the fog while attempting to land at Jacksonville International Airport, investigators are searching for clues on what caused the deadly crash.

Federal Aviation Administration officials tell Channel 4 that Donald Weidner, one of four victims, had more than 20 years of piloting experience. Weidner's law partner, Thomas Bowden and and orange park couple -- James and Adrienne Abrisch -- died in the crash.

National Transportation Safety Board investigators are in Jacksonville examining the engine to figure out if there were any problems. They said it will take six months to a year before they complete the investigation.

The Abrisch family have set up a scholarship fund in the couple's honor. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the James and Adrienne Abrisch Scholarship for the Visually Impaired, care of Stetson University, 421 North Woodland Boulevard, DeLand, Florida 32720.
