A serious crash closed both westbound lanes of Emerson Street at Spring Park Road, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.
The crash occurred just before 8:30 Saturday morning. Two vehicles were involved and each had one person inside. One driver was taken to Shands Jacksonville Medical Center with serious injuries. The other driver's condition was unknown, but JSO said no one was killed.
Traffic is being diverted onto Spring Park Road until JSO finishes its investigation.
