Every time we go to intersection it's a very anxious walk over and we're definitely reminded of tragedy because we walk through that inter on a weekly basis. Rabbi Yaakov Fisch says despite the publicity of what happened last month there have still been close calls at san jose and haley.RABBI YAAKOV FISCH 8:45:29 - traffic pretty much the same.I will say in last month there's been a couple of near misses as well. With aggressive drivers. In fact one of drivers yelled at one of the pedestrians recently. It's an anxious walk over. other churches are stepping up to help the synagogue...because the issue is jewish people observe the sabbath starting friday at sundown and part of that includes not using electricity. So they can't push the crosswalk button... so member of all souls anglican church have shown up to help.CINDY HARVEY/ALL SOULS ANGLICAN CHURCH 8:53:21 - well, it's an extremely dangerous intersection with so many cars turning...well i'm hoping that the state's goint to do something to help. now the department of transportation is looking into how to address this... rabbi fisch said a pedestrian walkway would be best over san jose... if not that something stilll needs to be done.RABBI YAAKOV FISCH 8:46:46 - just extending the green signal... irrespective if someone can press the button or not. 3 I talked to the florida department of transportation... they say they're still studying what options they have to make the intersection safer.Hopefully the results of that study will be available in the next few weeks. 3 Scott, the 16 year old who was injured in the crash last month.
