Early Sunday morning Florida Highway Patrol says 49-year-old James Keith Daughtry of Live Oak crashed his car after failing to negotiate a curve.
Police say that he was traveling north on County Road 137 when his car entered a curve in the roadway. He failed to complete the curve and drove off the road onto a grass shoulder, and stopped after hitting a tree.
He was air lifted to UF Shands of Gainesville, where he was pronounced dead.
No other information was available at this time.
