Published On: Oct 31 2011 05:47:43 PM EDT Updated On: Nov 16 2009 05:51:01 AM ESTThe National Weather Service said patchy morning fog will develop early Monday morning which will reduce visibility to about three to five miles. The NWS said a few locations, especially near the coast, could experience visibilities below one mile at time. Fog may develop again on Tuesday morning.
The NWS also said because of lingering swells, there was still an elevated risk of rip currents at area beaches along northeast Florida and southeast Georgia. The rip current risk will continue through at least Tuesday.
The fog may extend to counties including: Duval, Nassau, Clay, St. Johns, Putnam, Columbia, Baker, Union, Bradford, Alachua, Flagler and Marion counties in Florida. In Georgia, fog can develop in Ware, Brantley, inland and coastal Glynn, Charlton and inland Camden and coastal Camden.
