Deputies Investigate Armed Robberies At A Flagler County Park

Deputies were called to a robbery Friday night at Ralph Carter Park on Rymfire Drive. They were called back there around 8:30 a.m. Saturday to respond to a second robbery.
In both cases, a man reported to have brandished a gun at the victims. Police say the man left the scene by jumping over a park fence. In the Saturday morning incident, the robber allegedly struck a park visitor on the head and stole an iPhone.
On Friday night, the robber stole a wallet which was later recovered in a wooded area near the park.
The sheriff is asking residents to be extra observant and report any suspicious vehicles or people in their neighborhoods. Anyone with information about these incident is asked to call the Flagler County Sheriff's Office at 386-313-4911 or Crimestoppers at 1-888-277-TIPS (8477).
