FORT WHITE, Fla. -

Three Columbia County juveniles were arrested Saturday in connection with burglarizing a concession stand at a sports park.

Deputies said the concession stand at the South Columbia Sports Park in Fort White was burglarized Wednesday and again Thursday.

Soft drinks were stolen in each of the burglaries, deputies said.

Deputies patrolling the area said they found a window cover had been breached at the concession stand, and the three juveniles were inside.

The suspects had large amounts of candy and snacks in their possession, deputies said. They estimated that more than $1,000 in damage was sustained to the building as a result of the burglary.

The three juveniles were arrested and booked into the Columbia County Detention Facility. They were released to their parents after the booking process was complete.

All three are charged with burglary and criminal mischief. Additional charges are possible as the investigation into the previous burglaries continues.
